Welcome to paradise! I'm Lotti Anderson, your host here in the North of Sweden.
Far away from the hectic civilisation and back to Nature. We invite you to get to know Lapland in the winter with sled dogs or in the summer by horse or trekking. You will be fascinated ! You will feel good with us here at SnowTrail Dogcamp Lodge. We have ready made holiday arrangements which are changeable to suite your individual needs. Our Lodge is located between Kiruna and Gällivare, deep in the midst of the wilderness, far from civilisation but near the village of Moskojärvi. There is no road, but we have a trail which is passable by foot or with a 4 - wheeler in Summer, in winter via snowmobile or dog team. Approximately 3 km from the car park. |
We meet our guests at the airport in Kiruna ( 90km north) or Gällivare (45km south). An enthusiastic welcome is guaranteed from our 80 Alaskan Huskies. At the lodge there are also 3 horses, 4 ducks and our cat Tikka. The SnowTrail Dogcamp LodgeThe lodge is new built, all in wood and has all the facilities you may need. We have cosy sleeping rooms. A big living room with an open fireplace, TV, Stereo and a cosy loft which invites you to relax and read in peace. On the shore of our pond we have a typical Nordic Sauna that you can use at anytime.
We serve typical meals from the far north of Scandinavia. This means wild fish, Rein dear and Moose meat, etc. Our Ice bar is open in the evenings ( in winter) where you drink "cool" drinks. In the Summertime is a fireplace on the shore of our pond and if you wish I'll tell stories of the wilderness, animals and mushing. Our programs - adventure and fascination!Alone, in groups, with friends or with your family, there is always something to do, or you can relax, enjoy the peace, disconnect, and just enjoy the untouched wilderness. The midnight sun in the summer, or the twilights in the winter is an atmosphere which can not to described, this experience you have to make....
Our tours are always accompanied by two guides. The safety of our guests is of the up most importance to us. The groups are made up of six guests and two guides. We offer a range of different programs, among these you will certainly be able to find one that fits you. If you are a group of six people we can arrange a special program just for you to suit your wishes.

We can promise our guests the silent sound of the wilderness and with the right behaviour you can see a big spectra of wild animals. Vast, untouched wilderness to explore. There is also an endless amount of lakes and creaks to fish in. It's all waiting for you, right here.
